Abstract: In this paper we have evaluated the performance of a Novel protocol advanced Weighted Cumulative Expected Transmission Time (aWCETT) and compare it with infrastructure based and infrastructure less multicasting casting routing protocols in mobile adhoc networks in terms of end to end delay, throughput and packet loss in NS-2. Hence a Novel protocol advance Weighted Cumulative Expected Transmission Time (aWCETT) is selected one of the best routing protocol for infrastructure based as well as infrastructure less environment.
Keywords: DVMRP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM, CBT, WCETT, aWCETT, MANET & NS-2.

Scope of the Article: Routing and Transport Protocols
