Abstract: The proposed work presents an approach for scheduling algorithms which can minimize the response time of the Virtual Machine (VM) and provides better improved strategies through modified job scheduling technique. It identifies the effective virtual machine by calculating the minimum response time of the virtual machine and allocates the new request according to the difficulty (Number of Instructions to be processed for that request) level of the job requests. Using MRT and IS based VM scheduling algorithm that is compared with the RR scheduling algorithm, simulated results are obtained.
