Abstract: Reliability sampling plans are useful for life testing of products. In this paper , Modified chain Reliability sampling plans are developed using Dagum distribution. The operating characteristic function of the new sampling plan is derived. Tables are constructed for easy selection of the plan. The Modified chain Reliability sampling plans developed using Dagum distribution gives less sample size when compared with existing reliability sampling plans using Dagum distribution and hence testing is economical for practical use in industries.
Keywords: Dagum Distribution, Probability of Acceptance, Sample Size.
